| På oppdrag fra Relelverksutvalget for økologisk produksjon (RVU) har Bioforsk utført en vurdering av fordeler og ulemper knyttet til luftekravet for okser i økologisk produksjon, samt en utredning av mulige løsninger for lufting av okser. I tillegg er det utført en vudering av alternative metoder for produksjon av økologisk storfekjøtt, for eksempel produksjon av kastrat-, kvige- og kalvekjøtt. Økologisk produksjon av storfekjøtt er vurdert med bakgrunn i kravet om lufting av okser. Regelverket for økologisk produksjon(EU-reg. 2091/92) sier at "(...) okser skal ha tilgang til beiter eller luftegårder. | Das Ziel des Vorhabens war es, ein Netzwerk zum Thema „Futterbau und Tierernährung im Ökologischen Landbau“ zu etablieren. Es soll dazu dienen, Fachleute aus der landwirtschaftlichen Praxis, der Beratung und der Forschung zu verbinden, um einen Wissensaustausch zu ermöglichen und durch inter- und transdisziplinäre Diskussionen Entwicklungsperspektiven aufzuzeigen. | In dieser Arbeit, sollen mittels eines praxisorientierten Kennzahlensystems, verschiedene in der Schweiz bekannte Rindfleischproduktionssysteme, auf Intensität, Effizienz und Wirtschaftlichkeit, verglichen werden. Es sollen dabei Unterschiede unter graslandbasierten Produktionssystemen aufgezeigt werden, sowie ein Vergleich zu der in der Schweiz herkömmlichen intensiven Rindermast, gemacht werden. The one-sided genetic selection, preferring increased milk yield, complicates feeding and management of modern Holstein genetics when confronted with the strict rules defined for organic milk production. | Within the CORE Organic project MIX-ENABLE, Steffen Werne (FiBL) and his team are testing more sustainable ways of controlling gastrointestinal nematodes in ruminants. Farmers usually control parasites by using dewormers. However, resistance against these products is increasing. One approach is mixed grazing of different livestock species. It is well known that sheep and goats can benefit from mixed grazing with cattle in terms of animal health and performance. This is because gastrointestinal parasites are usually specialized in one livestock species, and mixed grazing has thus a “diluting” effect. | Objetivou-se avaliar a eficiência de bioterápicos administrados por meio da ração para o tratamento de mastite subclínica bovina causada por Staphylococcus aureus. O bioterápico na potência 12 CH foi produzido a partir de amostras de leite dos quartos infectados e administrado na dosagem de 0,5g do produto em pó por animal, espalhado sobre o alimento oferecido no momento da ordenha, duas vezes ao dia, durante 30 dias. Um grupo controle foi mantido nas mesmas condições recebendo placebo. Análises microbiológicas e CMT (California Mastitis Test) foram realizados 15 e 30 dias após o início do tratamento.
